Very good for premade chili, lots of veggies in here and it’s not blow your head off spicy. Great to bring for lunch, and vegan!

Just tried my first container of this. Good stuff. In our local TJs, this is found in a refrigerated case (with other ready-to-eat, prepared foods). Always glad to find more veggie/vegan options.
Lots of beans, lots of veggies, but it still comes across as a chili and not a soup. I’d say it’s only moderately spicy, and not very hot, so i added a bit of tomato paste, chili powder, and coupla shakes of chipotle hot sauce to jazz it up a bit, but it’s perfectly palatable as it is out of the container. The veggies add a nice taste and texture dimension not found in most chilis.
Only (very) minor downsides: The beans in my container were just slightly undercooked—i like my beans almost mushy—but not enough of an issue to dock a rating star. And, the container size is a bit odd. 20 ounces is a little too much for one portion (unless you’re really hungry), and not quite enough for two. Some of their other soups are similarly sized. I’ll just plan to get two containers to provide three portions.

This is a favorite of mine. I sometimes add frozen spinach, broccoli… or whatever left over veggies to bump up my veggie intake. The beans and veggies are nicely spiced and this container size makes a very hardy meal. I like to buy extra and freeze so I can continue to enjoy this soup/stew when out of season. This soup keeps me on track when I do not have time to prep and cook.
