Falls flat. Needs salt and the zesty citrus and garlic sauce is not zesty or flavorful at all. The only good thing was the fried plantains but there’s only like two of them in the bowl

Amazing, just the right amount. Lots of flavor but could use more plantains though.

Disappointed. Looks good, ingredients sound good, but altogether a failure. I cooked mine in the oven, as I well know how poorly chicken fared in the microwave. But the chicken in this dish was tasteless anyway. If you already have this in your home freezer, plan to add some Siracha to the rice and beans, and yes, maybe two slices of plantain. Come on Trader Joe, you can do better than this.

Cut the plantain into smaller pieces and spread them around, if you must… a little goes a long way. Needs salt, but that’s easily remedied. Good flavors and good texture even when microwaved.

Ah all frozen food pictures NEVER EVER on the box is what’s inside. If you want a tummy ache eat this & make sure to have a bathroom QUICKLY nearby. Mushy blah no flavor mush with hard chewy meat? It should be false advertising & lying to all companies that misrepresent their own products on a photo against what’s not in the box meal. And have some upset of tummy stuff to take. As always you pay more for nothing.
