This was pretty good! I don’t necessarily love any of the individual ingredients in it, but I like trying different Trader Joe’s products (especially dips), so I gave it a try. I used it as a dip with Trader Joe’s “Organic Blue Corn Tortilla Chips with Sprouted Amaranth, Quinoa, and Chia Seeds,” which it went well with.
I actually really dislike almonds normally, but they were crushed up enough that it didn’t bother me at all with this one. It has a nice tangy flavor without being overly spicy or bland.
I wouldn’t necessarily choose it as my first choice above another dip (like TJ’s herbed tahini) because there are others I like more, but I’d gladly eat it again in general!

On the road, thought I’d try it: Flavorless hot pepper glop straight to compost. Save the $3.00+, buy a $10 food chopper and make your own: romesco is the succulent best!

The day I’m out of my large supply of Romesco dip is the day I visit Trader Joe’s and clean them out of their stock again. Yep, it’s good. It’s why I go.

This is one of my new favorite TJ’s items! Super tasty and I love that it’s vegan with no oils.
