It’s not olive oil, is like a vegetable oil, I’m very disappointed, and I’m going to return it!!

Trader Joe’s might consider deleting this oil from its shelves. “Refined” olive oil is often adulterated, and in any event, this oil has almost no taste.

This is definitely NOT Olive oil! It’s very thin, colorless, odorless and tasteless! I honestly believe that the buyers for TJ’s have never actually tried this oil for themselves, cause if they DID try it the last place we’d see it is on their shelves. I will be returning my bottle to the store as well.

This is fake olive oil and I am incredibly disappointed because when I opened it there was no smell or taste and I was so confused. Please re-label this as vegetable oil or take it off the shelves, this is deception especially for those trying to make health conscious choices.

Yup they are still peddling this fake crap.
A total fraud and rip off! 0 Stars! Crystal clear without a hint of color (green, yellow) Absolutely no taste or smell. And the consistency is thinner than olive oil. Let be clear this isn’t even “light olive oil” It appears to be a $7.00 bottle of vegetable oil or something else. Maybe it’s rat piss idk. They are aware of it to they just don’t give a f:+k.

No stars if I could. Don’t know if TJs got played or they’re playing us, but this stuff is NOT olive oil. Am returning it tomorrow. You should stop selling this stuff.

Same complaint here. It has zero greenish color, zero olive oil smell, and zero flavor. I was shocked.
It might be 10% olive oil at most. Much like those fruit ‘drinks’ have 10% fruit juice.

I see I’m not alone. Want to give it 0 stars. This cannot be olive oil. No color, smell, flavor. I’m gonna take it back. Consumer fraud?

Extremely disappointed. Our TJ’s used to carry a really good EVOO but recently replaced it with this. I thought maybe they just changed the bottle and didn’t look too closely. Once I got home I realized I’d been gypped. If this comes from olives at all it’s clearly been HEAVILY refined, to the point that it might as well be canola oil. Not at all worth the price of olive oil. So bummed that I bought such a large bottle, as this has very little use to me.
This is such a terrible product so terribly labeled, it honestly makes me want to stop going to TJ’s entirely.

I’m from Italy and this excellent olive oil. It’s exactly the same as Bertolli and Filippo Berio. I wish it was more available.

Terrible, for the reasons others have said. In effect, just a very expensive canola oil with a lower smoking point. They shouldn’t call it olive oil– it is just generic “oil.”
Plus the label is misleading, at best. Big letters say that it is packed in Italy, and it is but with (again, terrible) oils from Spain and Turkey. If that isn’t false advertising, it is dancing close to the line.
I don’t know how Rina Ralls can praise this oil. Perhaps they are from Italy, Texas? (Yeah, it’s a real place).
