I’m trying to make the switch from my terribly unhealthy diet soda obsession to “healthier” sources of caffeine. I LOVE this tea, but I’ve searched everywhere and cannot find out how much caffeine it contains per serving.

Caffeine – Green tea brewed has about 30 to 50 mg of caffeine per 8 oz. Given this bottle holds about 33.8 oz or 4X, this implies if you drink the whole bottle you receive 120 to 200 mg of caffeine, about 2/3 of that of a SMALL brewed coffee in a coffee house (12 oz). As a rule of thumb green tea has about 1/4 to 1/3 the caffeine of brewed coffee per oz.

While I highly doubt this response is accurate, here is TJ’s official word on the caffeine:
“Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry for the delay in response, we are currently experiencing a high volume of emails at this time and are trying our best to catch up. There is 27.4mg of caffeine per liter in our Blueberry & Pomegranate Green Tea. I hope this information helps.

This is my go to buy iced tea at Trader Joes. Have been cutting back on soda and I love having this and mixing one glass of this with one packet of sweet and low. Best stuff ever. Really tastes great, and the price is affordable too for some homemade tasting iced tea.

I think this tea is great, and love how the fruit and the green tea have a flavor contrast.

I find this tea a great substitute to plain water when working out. I prefer to drink it ice cold(stored in freezer for an 1/2 hour before working out). Usually drink 3/4 bottle during a workout in the Summer.

It’s great, but it seems to be GONE! Cannot find it at any Trader Joes. Sad day.

Love this drink. I, too, have found it difficult to find in the stores and when I do I bring home a case. Is this becoming obsolete because obviously the demand is there?

I drink it by the case and have for many years. Living in Southern California close to Monrovia where it is produced, it was never an issue to get as much as I wanted. However, here in Florida, it is best to call the store(s) first to find out if it is in stock and then if so, have them put aside a case or two. Give them enough notice and I am pretty sure they can order it and have it ready in time for you to pick it up in a few days. Healthy and tasty; great combination hot or cold.
