This was a really
Disappointing one…the broth is flavorless, I had to add chicken bouillon, black pepper, and fresh parsley to give it a flavor. The pasta is also over cooked and way too soft.

It’s like they forgot to season this soup. It’s just weird.

As a long time Italian Wedding Soup fan, I thought Trader Joe’s version was absolutely delicious and carefully made. The broth had a very clean taste to it, and the meatballs and noodles were cooked to perfection. I always add to my store bought soups before serving. While it was on a very low simmer for a short amount of time, I added a healthy handful of baby spinach, cut the fire and let it sit to finish wilting the spinach. Served hot,, I Garnished with Braggs Nutritional Yeast Flakes, a pad or 2 of butter, and served with it with Trader Joe’s French Baguette Demi Loaf for dipping. It turned out Perfect This will be a regular in my household. Thank you Trader Joe’s! Your 20 year loyal customer.

Just meh . The meatballs have a strange texture and it kinda smells like cat food. I appreciate the meatballs being all beef, that’s hard to find In soup, usually has pork. Would I eat it again? Probably. But I won’t go out of my way to buy it.

No taste. Very dispointed in the lack of favor. What happened.?
Judith Bissey –
Tasteless

Looks appealing, meatballs are good but the broth is very weak with very little flavor. Addition of some bullion would have helped. Wouldn’t buy again.
Wendy –
Extremely bland. I had to add concentrated chicken stock, garlic, herbs, and salt.
AK –
Very under-seasoned. I much prefer the Progresso one even to this.

I like it. A lot of people say it’s bland, but a lot of people are addicted to heavily salted food. This stuff is relatively low in salt and better for you, and I really like it. Add salt free seasonings are it’s very very good.

Horrible! Tastes like ONION soup! Threw it away!
