The directions on this item are highly ambiguous. Are the noodles to be boiled? If so, for how long? Strained with hot water? Consider updating the directions as I’m still not sure what I’m supposed to be doing with these.

WOW so easy and tasty. I want to add basil, bok choy, maybe a few other veggies,

Easy and tasty. Directions on package tell you exactly how and how long to cook.

If you want to make these quick noodles into an incredible meal, try this: After the noodles are done, set them aside. In a saucepan, add 3 ounces of lower sodium chicken broth, the included seasoning packet, a few ounces of cooked chicken breast ( a world of difference if you use leftover Costco rotisserie chicken meat) chopped green onions to taste ( I use 1 flat tablespoon), 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce ( to me, the seasoning packet doesn’t add enough flavor) and a squirt or two of sriracha. Heat for a minute or two until just below boiling and then add noodles. Stir for a minute or two until all ingedients are combined and serve. The noodles absorb the liquid as you’re eating them so don’t let the wet appearance at first fool you. I’m sure this would work with many other kinds of meat or plant- based alternatives.

excellent, great base for any Asian style meal like chicken and broccoli. Or tofu and mixed veggies. The directions are on the outside packaging and they are easy to follow.

Boil water, drain noodles…not very clear cooking instructions, so just boil and keep testing noodles until al dente. Not super tasty as is, so I added green onion, pan-fried Argentinian togarashi shrimp with a squeeze of lime. Delicious!

These are a dupe for Momofuku’s noodles – coming in at less than half the price of Momofuku, but just as delicious. I sautéed up some tofu, bamboo shoots, and cabbage with sriracha and the provided seasoning mixture, added the noodles to it, and it was divine. Note – the directions are on the outer packaging (rather than on the individually wrapped portions) – I guess the folks complaining didn’t think to check there. 😉

I was confused by the directions as well. Step 2 is hidden in the fold.

Great noodles. Easy to cook and tasty. Add my own veggies and protein and its a meal! Went back for more but could not find any. Hope they return.

The noodles are okay. My biggest issue with them is the sauce that comes with it. I wish it had more flavor so that if I wanted to, I could have the noodles alone with the soy/sesame sauce. Unfortunately it just lacked flavor for my personal taste. I added veggies and other spices to add more flavor, but since I’ve had other noodles that taste great on their own with the provided seasoning, this wasn’t the best in my opinion. Had no issues with instructions on how to cook, since the wrapper explains it and it’s pretty straightforward. They’re pretty cheap, so can’t complain there but probably wouldn’t buy these again.

These are really good for a quick, easy dinner especially with the addition of some vegetables, cooked chicken or fish, meatballs, etc. I’m sure they are made by the same company that makes the Momofuku noodles. Just as good and less expensive!

These noodles are delicious. My only suggestion would be, to add 2 packs of the sauce because the 1 isn’t enough-hence why reviews say there’s no flavor. I have to use 2 packs. Add green onion & grilled chicken from Chick Fil A.

This is the first Trader Joe’s product that I thought was terrible! Pastey no flavor. When you follow the directions they weren’t even cooked.

Better than momofuku (from target). They’re noodles with a packet of sauce… not a meal. Be realistic.

Unique noodle texture. Used half of the sauce packet b/c too much sodium. Just enough to give the noodles some flavor. Sauce packet is okay, not terrible. Heavy sesame flavor. Add veggies and protein to make a meal. More like a 3.5.

Delish! Want to add a few other things next time. Needs more sauce in the packet!
Paula –
Definitely needs to say “drain the noodles” before adding sauce. Good snack or lunch with healthy additions.

These noodles gave me extreme abdominal cramping and diarrhea. They also had poor texture.
I bought a pack of these last week, made some for dinner last night. Making them, I noticed the sesame pack was clumped together and did not mix well. Cooking the noodles, they went from overly firm to mush pretty quickly and the final texture was quite gummy.
Flavor was ok, added some sriracha to spice them up a bit.
Bad part; I woke up at 3am with extreme pain in my gut and spent the next hour on the toilet. After a lot of pepto and ibuprofen I was able to get back to sleep but today, I still don’t feel well.
Bottom line, this package was not old, the seals were good and the food quality was still bad enough to injure my digestive system and I generally have the constitution of a garbage disposal. I will be throwing the rest of these noodles out.
