These were delicious, but it doesn’t take like karaage I ate in Japan. The breading was very thick. There were also separate blobs of the breading that, when cooked, gets extremely hard.
If you like some substantial breading for your fried chicken, then this is for you.

Chicken has a lemon flavor that can’t be ignored. Included sauce is exactly like Kewpie mayo. As Karaage, they are not great. However, would be great as boneless wings. If was rebranded with a garlic parm sauce would be a home run. Texture is strikingly similar to that of a McDonalds chicken nugget.
