Hate to say it, because I was really looking forward to trying this, but – yuck! The ingredients themselves sound like they would work perfectly together, and in many other similar types of dips they do. But something went wrong here – I couldn’t even finish the jar because it was just so flavorless and bland, and almost sour at the same time.

Have to agree with the other reviewers. This sounded good in theory, but in practice, it was really quite unpleasant. The texture is slimy and it’s really bland. I threw it out.

I found this salsa to be inedible. In fact I tossed it in the bin when I would normally throw it to the chickens. Sharp unpleasant flavor and odd texture. No redeeming value. Yuck. Makes me regret being a Texan.

Yep, had to throw it in the trash also. Obviously, this was put together by someone who has little concept of salsa. Who puts sugar in salsa!?!?!?! It was so sweet it was like eating pudding, and the mess of black beans in it was visually gross. TJ’s slapped on a clever name to market this hideous product. Don’t waste your money!

I like adding this to my burrito bowls or egg scrambles or just eating with rice! Could do without the beans, but other wise thoroughly enjoy this salsa. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but to each their own!
