Trader Joe’s Southwest Style Chicken Quesadillas Reviews

Good if you prepare it in a conventional or toaster oven. Not so great in the microwave…

Pretty good quesadilla. I made it on the stove top, and cooked it until it was crispy. Tortilla tastes great, like the bean and chicken, most of the veggies are good (though not a big fan of the corn in it). Cholulua hot sauce definitely added to it. Overall, I would eat it again.

The quesadilla had too many strong flavors in one bite which just didn’t go well together. Not a big fan.

As someone else commented the flavor was too strong. I don’t know if it was cumin or another spice but it didn’t agree with me. I love quesedillas but not this one nor the upset stomach that followed.

Why is it every single item that has the word “southwest” in it at Trader Joes has to have SO MUCH cumin in it this is all you can taste! These are gross. Chicken too saucy and WAY too much cumin. The owners who are from Germany just don’t get Mexican or Southwest food. I have complained to corporate so many times. Goes in one ear & out the other.
