This was a major disappointment. I was expecting the best of both worlds when it comes to brownies and cookies, but instead it didn’t taste like either. The texture was fine — along the lines with what I expected, very crispy cookie-like. The taste, however, barely resembled chocolate in my opinion – it tasted like chocolate teddy grahams; definitely nowhere near the decadent chocolate taste of a brownie or even a chocolate cookie. I couldn’t even finish the bag.

I was hoping for something delicious with these, but instead found these to be a dud. I felt like they were very dry/cardboard-like, without any kind of rich chocolate taste.

I wish I could leave zero stars. This was absolutely awful and a huge disappointment. I was expecting a delicious, rich brownie flavor and all I got was cardboard. This stuff is thick, dry, oddly airy, hardly sweet, and has no chocolatey flavor. I’ve tried other brands of “brownie brittle” that match the description on the TJ’s package, “a rich, brownie taste with a crisp, cookie crunch,” but this isn’t even in the ballpark. 🙁

I was expecting something like Brownie Brittle. Took my first bite and I knew something was off. Way off. There was no chocolaty flavor anywhere. Convinced that I must have picked a stale package, I actually examined the bag to make sure that it wasn’t out of date. But, no. Then I discovered in the fine print on the package that this is a vegan, gluten-free product. Perhaps this is why they taste like sawdust? This might be the first time I bought something that was supposed to taste like chocolate and couldn’t even finish one piece. Save your money and buy the real Brownie Brittle!

Tastes like very tasteless bad brownies that have been burned. A real disappoinment. My dogs liked them however.
