Inedible. I tried. My fourteen-year-old gagged. My seventeen-year-old’s description is not printable.
When I opened the jar, it smelled like I’d just lifted the lid of an almost-full public trash can at a picnic ground. It tasted like a mouthful of floral hand soap and cigarette ash. And ammonia. With a dot of honey at the center.
Did I mention that I *wanted* to like it?
This is the first Trader Joe’s product that I regret buying, and I’ve shopped there for four years. I’ll still shop there.

The truffle honey is a gift of the honey bee gods. Can’t wait for them to get is back. Two cases to make it last……:)
