This might be one of the single most disappointing Trader Joe’s products I’ve ever purchased. The crust is perfectly fine, but I couldn’t take more than a single bite of the blueberry filling; it was that bad. Tasted very generic/fake, like something from a pop-tart (but much worse), the blueberries were chewy and very unappealing. Both taste and texture of the filling were, to put it bluntly, disgusting.

I tried this pie for the first time and thought it was really good. No artificial anything in here which might be what some are missing, either that or lots of added sugar that usually ends up making a pie less digestible. I have many stomach issues and this is one of the only desserts I can eat without having acid reflux afterward which speaks to the quality ingredients. The crust is amazing and the filling has a slight bittersweet taste due to the cloves but I think it offsets the sweetness and really tastes close to homemade, not pie filling made from a can made. Impressed with this recipe.
