    This was a great product. I say “it was” because unfortunately they either discontinued it or they are out of stock. I used it ever since they started carrying it & loved it. Just the right amount (& taste to go back to sleep if you wake up in the middle of the night). I am glad they now have a similar product available as well as a 3mg chewable. They both have too much mint flavor but they are better than nothing. I hope you guys could restock the old 500 mcg chewable Melatonin. Please do!

    This was not just the best—but the only—Melatonin that has worked for me. I would be grateful if someone within TJ’s would be decent and compassionate enough to those who were able to sleep because of this product (and not cannot sleep as well) to:
    (1) convince TJ’s to bring bag THIS PARTICULAR FORMULATION (the replacement brand/version is ineffective), or
    (2) share with us on this review board who manufactured this for TJ’s so we can contact them to find out who is selling their formulation.

    I like to see this product back too. I tried the new one and it’s terrible. It taste so bad. I asked many trader joes in our areas and none of the employee has ever tried the new product on the shelf so they have not idea when I tell them how bad it is.
    I hope trader joes can hear us and take it into consideration and bring it back.
    I rate this two new type of melatonin one star.
    Sorry, its really bad product.

    I agree that this formulation is superior. For whatever reason, it works better.
    The 3mg doesn’t work anywhere near as well, and the newer 500mcg is a bit better, but NOT AS GOOD as the original.
    Please bring it back!

    The closest TJ’s is 45 minutes out of my way, and yet I would drive there regularly just to get this melatonin for my daughter. It’s the only stuff that really works. I would fill my cart with other stuff while I was at it. I am so frustrated that you don’t carry it anymore. Please consider restocking. If you do a quick google search you will see that there are many people feeling the loss of this product. ‪

    I am lost without this product!! I’ve tried the 3mg that TJ now carries and it’s NOT the same. The replacement has milk in it which upsets my stomach when trying to go to sleep. PLEASE BRING BACK THE TRADER DARWIN’S CHEWABLE PEPPERMINT MELATONIN 500mcg

    The 500 mcg. chewable Melatonin tablets that you discontinued a couple years ago were my staple! I miss them so much. Now, on top of that it seems that you have discontinued the poorer quality replacement which was also 500 mcg. Please bring back the original version! It was the best!! When you discontinue a valued product, you lose customers & credibility.

    Apparently TJ has discontinued the 500 mcg chewable melatonin tabs? I have been getting them there for years; first the TJ brand and then the Webber Naturals. I have just found out they have been discontinued. The alternatives provided are 6X the dosage!! This sounds dangerous to me. When 500 mcg has worked just fine, why should I risk taking 3, 5, or 10mg?
    Please bring back the 500 mcg melatonin.
    My rating is for the melatonin, not for TJ discontinuing it.

    Please bring back the 500mcg… I may never sleep again! The 3mg and higher doses do not work as well as 500mcg. World renowned sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus recommends only the 500 mcg.

    First the Trader Joe’s brand lower dosage melatonin was discontinued and replaced with Webber 500mcg, now there is no replacement for the replacement on the shelves at all? The higher dosage melatonins do not mean better acting. Please hear your customers and carry the lower dosage again.

    Please bring this specific product back! I agree with all the other reviewers that this formulation was the BEST melatonin available. How I wish I would have stocked up years ago – have tried many different brands/dosages since then and nothing works as well as this did! The other ones also cause us to wake up groggy & cranky which the TJ’s never did. I am desperate to buy this somewhere!

    I think they discontinued because they falsely advertised the dosage. Just guessing given their low levels of quality control around GMPs.

    I would love to see this product returned. I loved the flavor and felt that they worked the best of all the brands I’ve tried. The sleep Doctor recommended these and I was in love ever since.

    As a former Trader Joe’s employee, I can attest to the best way to bring back discontinued products is to give feedback directly on the company website. Seriously I met a buyer/product developer once and she was desperate for product ideas and specific item feedback from customers. Of course it was like, give us a few days notice so we can collect it but whatever. Anyways I have seen products get discontinued then brought back bc of customer demand-the weirdest was light feta cheese in the block. Some die-hard fans out there apparently.
