It doesn’t taste like authentic Kung Pao Chicken (as if it would), but it is so delicious! Have it over rice with some added Sriracha for more kick. Can be made in the microwave or stovetop.

Delicious! Better than the Chinese restaurants and great for company even, serve with TJ’s vegetable fried rice!

I think this might be the best Trader Joeās frozen entree yet! And thatās saying a lot, ācause we go nuts over TJās Butter Chicken.
Well seasoned – medium high spicy. (I love spicy food.) We prepared it with a traditional Chinese wok on the stovetop.
This dish comes with four ingredients: the frozen chicken pieces, frozen Chinese veggies (separately packaged), two Kung Pao sauce packs, and separately packaged peanuts to finish the dish.
It was fabulous. My gf and I were stuffed to the gills. Add some rice and you could feed four for $4.99

I love the Chicken Pao! But I have to say I notice that you have cut back on the amount of chicken but the price is same or higher. Use to feed three people on one bag now barely two people can eat on a bag. I may have to stop buying this product . I don’t want too but you have gotten stingy.

First time making Trader Joeās Kung Pao Chicken. I opted to use the skillet method to heat/mix and it came out tasting fabulous! Trader Joeās KPC is a wonderfully tasty comfort food, worthy of the name. Leftovers the next day were microwaved and just as delicious. This product is a āmust haveā always handy in my home freezer from now on!
Highly recommended.

I use this as a base for my fake take out.
I use the recipe for three cup vegetables for a sauce.
I cut up one onion, one or two bell peppers, a ton of garlic, add bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and broccoli crowns, use low soy sodium Chinese rice wine, Mirin, toasted sesame oil, more peanuts, And use just one packet of the sauce that comes in the package. YuM, slow fast food and fake Chinese takeout. I think about henry Chung whenever I make it. He was a great man.

Trader Joeās Kung Pao Chicken is absolutely delicious. Better than any Chinese restaurant in our area. You can add more peanuts and some green onion if you like but perfect as is. We are hooked. A

Staple item for my family and a personal favorite…which is alarming since I am not a fan of bell peppers. But this? This is a flavor delight. Absolutely love the water chestnuts and peanuts. Combine with one of the fried rice options, and this makes a very hearty meal for three.

I measure Chinese restaurants by their Kung Pao chicken. While this dish isn’t the best I’ve ever had, it is better than anything we can get from any of the Chinese restaurants in our mid-sized town. It’s easy to prepare in a skillet. The chicken is the real deal. The sauce is tasty with a slight spicy bite, and the nuts tossed in at the end were nice and crunchy. I’ll definitely buy again.

Love this. We do TJs Chinese night and this is a staple. This, the fried rice, and an appetizer. Just need to add a little crushed red pepper into the sauce packets and you are good!

My newest fave thing from TJsāIām hooked! I make it in a cast iron skillet with lots of oil, then pile it over rice, mm-mmm. If youāre cooking for one, you can easily halve the bag though I would prob use all the included veggies for half and add fresh for your 2nd half. 10min prep total. As good or better than restaurant take out (though arguably very āAmericanā style). I wish I could buy just the sauce. It would be amazing with Japanese eggplant.

It used to be good with big chunks of chicken however the last two times I bought this the chicken is crappy grisly small pieces. I would have given it one star but TJās site would not let me.
So disappointed.

Quick, easy, and so good! Cooked in the wok, topped with scallion and sesame seeds, and served over rice with a side of edamame and spring roll. Twenty minutes or less if you make your own rice. Serves 3 but with the sides pulled off a meal for 4. Will buy again!

This is amazing. I literally can eat it by itself without any sides. I’ve alwasy been leary about buying frozen food items like this but so far Brother Joe DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! I put this in the pan and it was ready in minutes. The chicken was a nice tender texture and acutally tastes like chicken. I used both packets of sauce but you really don’t need to. Pair this with some cauliflower rice or regular rice and you’re good to go! I will be buying these like 5 at a time. It’s perfect for when you don’t want to cook and want some fast food!
