The bread is very good, but you need to be aware of the fact that it goes bad FAST! I don’t know if you need to keep it in the fridge, or just freeze it right away, but ours was moldy the day before the date on the bag, which makes me think it was starting to mold even before that.
But, the bread is very good.

This is a good thing. Means there are little to no preservatives. If you want a loaf that sits for a moaf…Weber’s is your solution…just sayin…

They no longer sell it at my local TJ. Since earlier this summer 2020. They have replaced it with something that they at first made about half the size yet priced the same and it is garbage. You’ll get the same bread for cheaper from Oroweat whole wheat bread. They have increased the size of the deceptively similarly named replacement with a green label but its still smaller and still garbage. One slice of the new stuff would make 4 slices of the old stuff by weight and density alone.

For years I have driven to another city a couple of times a month to buy California Style bread at TJs. It is the only kind of sandwich bread I like. As long as I am there I buy a lot of other things, but without the bread, I have less reason to make the trip. I agree with Nov. 12 review. The bread you have now is mediocre. Why did you discontinue the CA Style?
