6 reviews for Trader Joe’s Frozen Mango Chunks Reviews

These are wonderful. I toss them frozen in my Kitchenaid for a perfect vegan “ice cream” (sorbet??) I also toss them in the round frozen hockey puck oatmeal blobs Trader Joe’s sells (sorry for a horrid description, they are delicious). My only complaint, and it’s really not a complaint is that once in awhile you’ll get a package that isn’t as sweet as normal, and the chunks are pretty big so you have to cut them up for certain dishes. This is a staple in my house.

TJ’s ran out of these for awhile and I was seriously depressed over it. Yes, depressed. They are just so darn convenient for three things – healthy smoothies, Mango Lassi made with Kefir, or tossed into hot oatmeal or hot quinoa. I always have a bag in my freezer.

These are consistently high quality and such an economical buy. Ripe and cut into chunks they are perfect for smoothies. In fact, we put mango in almost every smoothie we make.
Great price, great product.

These are usually very good and very convenient with a buttery sweet flavor, however, the last package I opened had a strange flavor and I ended up with the runs and a stomach ache that lasted all day. The bag must have been a bad batch and I searched for a recall but there was not one.
I love that there is no added sugar, they are organic, inexpensive and so easy to use. I eat them with plain yogurt and organic blueberries almost every morning.
