These are a wonderful treat. Perfect entree for two.
Went looking for them again this afternoon at my local Trader Joe’s – none there; so I tried chicken verde burritos. Looked like same vendor from packaging. NO. A complete disappointment. So watch out. Enchiladas were I believe simply refrigerated. Burritos were frozen. Don’t even bother trying those burritos.

Tried these today and they were awful!!!! Slopped into the original container and, when heated, fell apart. They hardly had any chicken filling inside and what was there was mushy and overly sweet. No thanks, TJ, this was an epic fail!!!

Tried these today. Heated up in the oven. Horrible! So sweet I could hardly stand them!
Chicken tasted strange and kind of dry. Not much flavor other than sugar.
I don’t know why so many vendors think everything has to be so sweet. Certainly not even close to real Tex-Mex.

These were delicious. Just slightly spicy. Soft chicken meat and cheesy sauce. I would love the recipe.

Dry no taste no cheese green sauce non existent. Heated in oven burnt on ends cold in the middle. Would never buy again. Just awful couldn’t eat.

Pretty darn good. I added slices of pepper jack cheese and some Greek yogurt and baked in toaster over.

These were good considering they were very different from those found in Mexican restaurants. I thawed them completely in the fridge for two days to ensure they would heat through completely. Despite very little cheese and sauce, the chicken filling was tasty and tender and the flour/corn tortilla was tasty.

We loved these. I was told at my nearest Trader Joe’s here in the Atlanta area today that they have been discontinued.

I made a previous comment that I was told these have been discontinued. While that is true, I now wonder if I was given incorrect information. Please delete both comments with my apologies.

My husband and I really like to have these for dinner. There are four enchiladas filled with a lot of chicken. The serving size is one per person, but we actually eat two each.. I cook them in the oven not the microwave. There’s not a lot of sauce at all so you really need to have some additional sauce to put on before you cook or afterwards. We had a dollop of sour cream after they come out of the oven and we usually have some tortilla chips on the side. Makes a great meal.

Okay, so right off the bat these look like they would be absolutely disgusting. You get them and they’re just chillin in that little package looking all slimy and crumbly… ew! But they’re actually not as gross as you would think. They are a little slimy but it’s edible. I agree with the other comments that the sauce is a bit too sweet. And I don’t think they have any business advertising this as even a little bit spicy. But if you’re desperate for a quick meal these will do the trick.
