Admittedly, I’m no Chinese food expert, but I find this orange chicken quite tasty. I wouldn’t call it gourmet, but it’s delicious nonetheless! Sweet, tangy, and a bit crunchy, it’s reminiscent of the orange chicken you might get at Panda Express.

I like this one a lot. It is very tasty and easy to prepare.

    MY FAVORITE CHINESE DISH.

In fairness to this product I, unlike what seems like everyone else, despise dark meat chicken. So that was my first problem. But I found the sauce to be way too sweet.

This was just ok, and honestly the only product I have ever tried from Trader Joe’s that I didn’t really like. It was the meat itself, I just assumed it would be chicken breast, the leg meat just didn’t work in this dish for me.

I love this stuff! I like dark meat, so that wasn’t an issue for me. But I really love the sauce and the fact that the chicken actually gets crispy in the oven. It’s way better than the orange chicken from any of the Chinese takeout places where I live. Authentic? Maybe not, but very tasty nonetheless!

It’s tasty. I make it in a frying pan on the stove, using maybe 1 sauce packet; adding a tiny bit of vinegar; and more hot pepper. Sometimes, I add fried eggplant and onion. Versatile crowd-pleaser.

Flavorful sauce, breading stayed extra crispy in the oven. Only downside is the lack of “chicken breast”. I found it to be mostly breading and fat. All in all would buy again.

It’s so good. I cook it a little longer than it says on the bag, so it is extra crispy. It’s my favorite item at Trader Joe’s. I’ll take down an entire bag for dinner and it’s just oh, so good.

Staple. Cook this up with one of the fried rice options and steam some broccoli or something and you have an all-American “Chinese” meal. No one is calling this authentic, right? But are we calling it a crowd pleaser? Yes. Yes we are.

We have been eating this Mandarin Orange Chicken for a long time now, but recently we have stopped. The reason is the amount of Orange Sauce in the package the company gives you. There is not enough orange sauce to make this taste good. We usually mix the chicken with rice. We have quit buying this produce because we can always cook chicken and make our own rice, but if the company thinks this is enough Orange Sauce, then they are sadly mistaken. Its the Orange Sauce that make this Mandarin Orange Chicken, and if there is too little sauce then what’s the point.

Overhyped. There are much better tasting options from other brands. The sauce has no spice in it.

The last time I purchased it,it tasted like it had been cooked in old oil, same reason I stop getting KFC. 8 years ago it was great, now it’s scary to eat.

I was disappointed in this one and I’ve liked most all items I’ve tried at TJ’s. Maybe because I cooked it in an air fryer but the chicken seemed dry and there wasn’t very much sauce to add flavor. Maybe increase the size of the sauce packet. I don’t think I’ll but it again.
