    I wanted to like this, but it’s completely unpalatable, so much so that I wondered if it had gone bad. It’s genuinely awful.

    I love fig and balsamic together, so I bought a bottle a few weeks ago. After using it a couple of times, I strained it to get rid of tough bits of what I assume were bits of fig. I just bought a second bottle today, and poured some over leftover quinoa, and the quinoa, which was fine last night, had bits of grit, like fine sand, throughout.

    I’m a big Trader Joe’s fan, but the Balsamic Fig dressing tastes bad, plain and simple. It is unbalanced and has an off-putting flavor, as Debra and Katherine mention above. Really unworthy of the brand name.

    Can’t believe Trader Joe’s could sell something so awful. Runny consistency, super sweet and the most off-putting aspect, little hard crunchy bits like fig seeds. It ruined a perfectly good salad. Dumped it in the trash.

    When it comes to balsamic vinegars and salad dressing, I am very picky. This dressing is amazing! I cannot believe the low ratings. I was sad when the bottle was empty.

    This stuff is delicious! I love that it’s relatively low-cal (for a salad dressing), and tons of flavor. A store associate recommended it to my husband when they were out of our regular balsamic dressing and I probably wouldn’t have tried this otherwise. I’m SO glad he brought this home!

    Wow I cannot understand all these bad reviews – my boyfriend and I LOVEEEEED this stuff. They just told us at the store that it got discontinued and we were SOOO bummed. Just found a bottle I stashed away in our pantry so going to try and recreate it. PLEASEEEE bring it back!

    Best dressing I have ever had. Organic with olive oil as the only oil and lower cal for dressing. Everyone who ever tries it at my home loves it. My main reason for shopping at TJ. I’m so so bummed it’s discontinued. Please please bring it back!

    Absolutely delicious! I went specifically there tonight to buy some and learned it was discontinued! That’s a shame. It’s a fabulous dressing. (I don’t understand the poor reviews above… maybe they didn’t shake it up? Lol)

    This was an excellent salad dressing. It had the healthiest ingredients of the organic TJs dressings. All other organic dressings seem to have mostly soybean oil as a primary ingredient. It was discontinued. Please bring it back.

    I really love this dressing. The fact that it contains 100% olive oil is a bonus that is hard to find in bottled dressing. I’m so disappointed that it’s discontinued. It was one of the reasons that I would shop at Trader Joe’s.

    I found out a couple months ago when the clerk said this dressing was discontinued… I had to make my last bottle carry me through for as long as possible & now it’s gone. I am so very disappointed! This is the only dressing I buy and it’s the only one I’ve always absolutely loved. My old habit was just oil & vinegar bcz others were just “too much” something… Please reconsider selling it! Or post the recipe so we can enjoy once again…

    This dressing is the #1 reason I go to TJ’s. The frozen bell peppers and butter chicken are up there too but if I can’t get this dressing I’m very unlikely to make the 1 hour round trip to the nearest TJ’s. Really disappointed.

    Dear Trader Joes Headquarters, I just found out that my all time favorite Balsamic and Fig dressing that I used for my Caprese salad at home is discontinued. I am so hurt right now because I made her drive to Tallahassee from Panama City beach to get this dressing in Tallahassee for me. Listen this dressing was the best I have ever had with my mozzarella, basil, and Kumato from your store. Please I beg you BRING THIS DRESSING BACK OR PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW YOU MADE THIS DRESSING SO THAT I CAN MAKEIT AT HOME PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. MY HEART HURTS. Thank you kindly.
