First of all, I was really happy to see that Trader Joe’s came out with a vegan cheese dip. I’ve had others from places like Whole Foods, and they’re typically twice the price that the TJ’s one is. It’s also nice that it’s organic.
That being said, this dip wasn’t as good as the ones I’ve tried from Whole Foods. It seems to have almost the exact same ingredients as the competitors, but the biggest difference for me is the texture. This one isn’t as creamy as I would have hoped. It’s a lot thicker and doesn’t work as well for dipping as the other versions I’ve tried do.
Still, it’s a nice option for the price and I have no issues with the taste itself.

I couldn’t get past the texture. It was not creamy but rather more like gelatin. Actually didnt care for the taste either. Surprising because I adore most of Trader Joe’s dips, sauces and spreads!

Not understanding negative reviews. I found this to be really good, and also, heat it up a little and it knocks it out of the park!

I found this vegan Fiesta dip to be quite delicious. In fact I snacked on it cold (never have i ever eaten cheese sauce cold) because it was so good that I didn’t want to wait to heat it up. When I did heat it up it warmed beautifully.

Loved this dip. Finally traders came out with a vegan cheese sauce dip. Now, I go into the store and it’s been discontinued. Really? No other substitute? Come on traders, quit discontinuing good stuff for us vegans.

Was my main reason for traveling an hour to get to Trader Joe’s. They ruined the new version for those of us with high cholesterol by adding coconut oil. Please please bring back the original version!
