Trader Joe’s Middle Eastern Wrap Recipe

 

Ingredients:

1 package Trader Joe’s Falafel

1 package Trader Joe’s Pita Bread

1 container Trader Joe’s Tahini

1 container Trader Joe’s Balela

 

Directions:

  1. Heat falafel in oven as directed by package
  2. Heat pita in microwave (typically between 30 seconds and 1 minute)
  3. Spread tahini (or hummus, if you prefer) on warm pita
  4. Add balela as desired (we recommend one heaping spoonful per pita)
  5. Add several pieces of falafel
  6. Take a bite!

Trader Joe’s Pollo Asado Tacos Recipe

 

Ingredients:

1 package of Trader Joe’s Pollo Asado

1 cup of Trader Joe’s Black Beans or Pinto Beans

1 package of Trader Joe’s Cilantro

1 package of Trader Joe’s Corn Tortillas

1 cup of Trader Joe’s Rice of your choice

Chopped Trader Joe’s Yellow Onion

1 package of Trader Joe’s Pico de Gallo 

 

Directions:

1. Boil water, add desired amount of rice and cook per package instructions (depending on the type of rice you want to use).

2. Add 1 – 2 tablespoons of olive oil to stovetop pan, heat and add cut pollo asado. Cook until desired texture.

3. Heat black beans in the microwave (or stovetop).

5. Serve tortillas with rice, beans, chicken, chopped cilantro, onion, and pico de gallo.

Trader Joe’s Sriracha Tofu Bowl Recipe

 

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Boil 2 cups of water and add 1 cup of rice, set timer for 20 minutes
  2. When timer has about ten minutes left, heat stovetop to medium and start chopping up tofu into cubes and veggies as desired
  3. Add one to two tablespoons of garlic olive oil to pan
  4. Add cubed tofu and chopped broccolini/mushrooms
  5. Cook for about five minutes (or until desired)
  6. Serve over rice
  7. Add Sriracha as desired

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat skillet to medium
  2. Add one to two tablespoons of garlic olive oil
  3. Add half a package of herb salad mix
  4. Stir for several minutes, then add green onion and chicken
  5. Continue stirring for up to a few more minutes
  6. Turn off stovetop, add to bowl
  7. Add sesame soy ginger vinaigrette as desired
  8. Stir

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat skillet on low
  2. Add 1 tbsp Trader Joe’s Garlic Olive Oil
  3. Add 1/2 package of Trader Joe’s Kale
  4. Stir and cook for around three minutes
  5. Add chopped up asparagus
  6. Continue stirring/cooking for around two more minutes
  7. Add chicken and chopped green onions
  8. Cook for an additional 1.5 minutes on high
  9. Turn off stove, add to bowl
  10. Add dressing to taste
  11. Sprinkle crushed tortilla chips on top
  12. Stir

  2. Add four drops of Stevia
  3. Add 1 tbsp of honey

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Combine eggs, oil, and water in a mixing bowl. Stir and add mix. Fold together for a minute or two until smooth.
  3. Add chocolate chips and pumpkin pie spice, stir for another minute.
  4. Pour into lighlty greased muffin tins.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.

Directions:

Open chip bag. Enjoy the satisfying tear of the package as the delicious scent of chips wafts out. Grab handful. Dip into Tahini sauce. Place in mouth, and let out a satisfied sigh.

Trader Joe’s Balsamic Chicken, Broccoli, & Mashed Potatoes Recipe

 

Ingredients:

1 package of Trader Joe’s balsamic vinegar chicken

1 cup of Trader Joe’s broccoli florets (could use frozen or fresh bagged)

1 package of Trader Joe’s frozen  mashed potatoes

Trader Joe’s garlic salt

 

Directions:

Cut up balsamic vinegar chicken into pieces of desired size and stir-fry with broccoli florets, sprinkling a pinch or two of garlic salt in the pan. Serve over heated mashed potatoes. Bon appetit!

Trader Joe’s White Bean and Tuna Salad Recipe

Description:

Light and tasty bean and tuna salad – perfect as a quick-fix side dish or main course on a lazy summer day!

Ingredients: 

1 – 15-oz can Trader Joe’s White Kidney Beans  (Cannellini)

1 – can Trader Joe’s Solid White Albacore Tuna (in water)

1/2 – medium sized lemon

1 – bunch green onions

olive oil to taste

salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Drain and rinse the beans  thoroughly, then dump them into a large mixing bowl. Drain the tuna and flake it into the bowl using a fork to create medium-sized chunks. Chop up the green onions, and add them to the bowl. Drizzle in olive oil and toss until ingredients are generously coated (I typically use about 4-5 tablespoons, but you can use more or less, depending on your preference). Squeeze in juice of half a lemon (or to taste). Add salt an pepper to taste.

Serve with a crusty piece of french bread!

Makes 2-3 servings.
