It’s ridiculous how good and addictive these are! I bought them more out of curiosity than anything, as I’ve never had a version like this with almond butter, only peanut butter. Wow, though – I must have eaten half the bag in one go! Everyone else I’ve given them to has felt the same way. Perfect crunch without being too hard, and the almond butter seriously complements the salty pretzel perfectly.

The “good” trader Joe’s almond filled pretzels are delicious, however this product seems to lack TJ‘s traditional high level of quality control. I have purchased bags of these pretzels where many are dark, crumbly and burned. I’ve purchased other bags with filled pretzels of extremely different sizes—some with little if any almond filling while another in the same handful might be fine. The size inconsistency in the bag we’re currently consuming is so marked it’s almost as if some of the smaller peanut butter filled pretzels were inserted in the bag of almond butter filled pretzels. It’s frustrating and puzzling and has been going on for months now . TJ’s please set your Quality Control experts to examining why this is happening with what could be a very good product.
