I love scones and was looking forward to eating these, but they ended up being pretty disappointing. The one good point was the texture — soft and crumbly, and exactly what I was looking for. The flavor itself, though, was not good at all. Had a baking soda type of aftertaste.
Even my two-year-old daughter, who normally loves all types of baked goods, flung a piece across the room after taking a bite. Yikes!

I believe they have changed the ingredients for their scones. I used to buy their scones and they were so good but the last ones I got were very dry, fell apart, and just not edible. Some of the blueberries felt like they had stems parts in them. I won’t buy them again. Not sure if their mixes are any better, never used them. These were ready to eat, packaged scones in the bakery section.
