Did not enjoy. Definitely strong alcohol flavor comes through but doesn’t feel like a mixed cocktail more like you look a regular macaron and spilled some alcohol on it. French brandy was the better of the three though if I had to choose

These aren’t great. The brandy one is pretty tasty, and I like the addition of chocolate to the filling of the Cointreau ones, but the rum cookies are straight up awful. Why they didn’t think to at least use spiced rum is beyond me. It’s just a white rum flavored cookie, with no additional flavors, just ends up tasting like a rubbing alcohol flavored cookie. I typically love TJs macarons but these are a skip.

Excellent definitely can taste the cognac, Cointreau and rum in them. Bought half dozen since they are selling like hit cakes here in WNY. Definitely a must.

These are boozy. Coming from an ex bartender. Heads up. As I figured the white cookie is rum. And I liked it. It’s a little tropical pirate friendly bite. The Cointreau is my fave, delightfully it tasted of orange liquor delight. The brandy one tastes like chocolate. Glad I got two boxes.

Too sweet. Less sugar overload when I eat half. Can’t really taste the booze, except for the rum. Chocolate is added to the brandy one.

These taste like stale cookie that got dropped into an empty cocktail glass and was left sitting in there for awhile before being discovered. I love macarons and I think Trader Joe’s usually does it well but these were a major miss for me. I don’t mind a hint of booze in a dessert when it’s done well but there wasn’t enough flavor to balance out the booziness.
