There seems to be a new version of TJ’s Cinnamon Raisin Bread out now, and to add insult to injury, it costs a dollar more per loaf. Just not worth it. No, just no. Bring back the previous version, as it was much better. Whoever gave the go ahead for that replacement, fire their ass.

I agree with Joyce. The loaves of cinnamon raisin bread are now 18oz instead of 24oz and the slices are much thinner. Now it is more like the other cheapie raisin bread brands and not nearly as good as good as before. PLEASE bring back the old loaf! It was SO much better.

I agree with the above reviews! A dollar more per loaf, and so much worse. The slices are so small I could barely fish them out of my toaster. The bread tastes bland and sugary, and the cinnamon doesn’t even taste or smell real. It tastes like something you would buy out of a vending machine. I love Trader Joe’s, so this was even more of a disappointment and bad judgment on their part. Yes, please bring the old bread back. I loved how it tasted and how it made my kitchen smell like Christmas!

Bring back the old cinnamon raisin bread that our family love so much. That is one of the main reason we shop at trader joes because of their cinnamon raisin bread. A real bad business decision on trader joes.

TJ’s lost my business as well. COSTCO has a raisin bread that is the same or better than the original. Two loaf pack. Nice, thick, tasty slices.

I loved the original salmon bread because it had a very special flavor. The new cinnamon bread has a weird ingredient that has a taste that I do not care for. I was told they changed bakeries because of a warehouse change but I hope they will bring back the old bread because it was so much better.

I too loved the old cinnamon raisin bread sold by Trader Joe’s. I was so disappointed when they replaced it with this lame, “raisinless” version. The new loaf has way too much cinnamon and hardly any raisins. It is also smaller and much less dense.
The old version had a good density and the slices were larger which made for great toast. The new bread is something you could buy at any regular supermarket, nothing special.
I too was told that they had switched bakeries, but come on, this new bread is nothing like the old version. If it was just matter of changing bakeries, why not have them make the bread with the same recipe? I have a strong feeling this was all about cost, cutting it. I for one would have been happy to pay more for a product I like.

Why don’t you just tell us where we can purchase the deliciouse discontinued cinnamon raisin bread that we love. Give your customers these option so we can have a better satisfaction if you care to discontinue an item.
