These are one of my favorite snacks that I’ve ever tried. And I don’t say that lightly, as I’m a major fan of trying all kinds of snacks like this/chips/crackers, especially spicy ones!
Ugh, so good. The spice is perfect where it’s not unbearable, but there’s a significant amount of heat/kick to it that particularly hits you after the bite. Great texture (reminds me of the rice in sizzling rice soup before it’s put in the broth), great crunch, great… everything!
Last time I went, it wasn’t out on the shelves anymore – I REALLY hope they didn’t stop making these and it was just a temporary outage!
These are super high calorie (like… almost 50 calories per tiny nugget piece!) but it’s also easy to just have a very small handful at a time and get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Now, please just tell me these are coming back to the shelves soon!

I absolutely love these! I already liked the regular TJ’s mochi rice nuggets snack, but these are a whole other level. Perfect type of paprika-ish spice flavor, great crunch, appealing texture, good size… they better keep these in stock for the long haul!

So good. I like the normal non-spicy ones too, but they’re kind of boring. These ones keep things more interesting. Watch out, because the heat creeps up on you. Eat the first one, “nah, it’s not spicy at all.” Ten more, and you’re downing your drinking. And then reaching back into the bag for another ride.

I was disappointed with these. They have the crispy chewy of fried mochi and they’re spicy, but otherwise no real flavor.
