Decadent. Perfection. Had to stop buying these caramels as I can’t stop once I start eating them.

I’ve had to stop bringing these home because my wife and I both decided we were eating them too much. They are a special treat and should be treated as such.

Disappointed in SoCal –
I love these and struggle to NOT give them 5 stars but I’ve noticed in the past 6 months the quality of the caramel has varied, a LOT. Some of the caramel is creamy, gooey, wonderful and some the caramel is ‘grainy’. Almost tastes like they are ‘old’. It’s random, sometimes the whole box is like that, sometimes one in the box. But lately at least ONE or TWO in every box. I take a bite, toss it in the trash if it’s grainy. Wish they would figure out what is making this happen and fix it. I LOVE these but if i continue to have to ‘taste test’ every one and throw some away, at some point,iT might not make sense anymore. :(. Disappointed

These used to be wonderful but the flavor has changed for the worse in the past few months. Maybe they have switched to cheaper ingredients or a new supplier? Still hoping they will go back to how they used to be.

Definitely have changed their once perfect TJ’s recipe! They were irresistible and amazing but sadly these dark chocolate covered caramels are no longer even decent. They are grainy, too sugary and chunky…. Not the soft, gooey, delicious taste and texture they used to be. Don’t bother!

Very Disappointed –
These are definitely not the same as it used to be. They are grainy, not as chewy and the flavor has changed. It used to be a darker Carmel and more of a shorter square in height. I immediately noticed that they are taller. So disappointing. Now I don’t want them. I’m taking them back.

What happened to the dark chocolate covered caramels??
I make caramels for the holidays and the TJ caramels taste like they’re not being cooked long enough. It makes the texture grainy and not chewy enough. Is this a permanent change?
