This was pretty good, and a nice unique take on a dip that I eat regularly (regular tahini dip). It’s nice that it has quite a big flavor profile – I really like most of the ingredients in it (though I wish I could taste the green onion more).
I don’t think I would buy it regularly, because it was good but not necessarily great — the dill was a bit strong for my taste. But if you’re into these ingredients (dill, cilantro, lemon, green onion, and of course tahini) it’s definitely worth a try.

The first few bites are powerful and different and tasty – definitely had me hooked initially. But after a few, it lost its allure a little bit and all I could taste was ‘lemon.’ Not to say it’s bad by any means, because it’s not, but it’s kind of too strong for me to eat regularly.
Also, though it’s called “dip & sauce,” I don’t see how it’s a sauce at all — it’s not even remotely liquid-y (way less so even than TJ’s regular tahini dip); more of a hummus-like texture.

It is very heavy on the dill and lemon, so if that is your thing, like me, this is wonderful. I make a cucumber salad by tossing sliced onions, tomato, and cucumber with this dip and a few pinches of salt. It is so fresh tasting. I look forward to trying it with grilled meats, especially lamb.

Strong dill flavor and that’s what I like about it. Another plus is that it does not contain oil.

Also I taste Mint in it.
Reminded me of tahini combined with Indian fresh mint chutney.

Reminds me of the tabouli salad I grew up with. It’s great to have that taste in a dip! Love it!!

I am hooked on this!! I almost went through the whole container the moment I opened it. It was delicious on Trader Joe’s ‘Pita Bite Crackers’. I really liked the tangy taste of the lemon, dill, and cilantro. Definitely, hit the spot for me!!

This is the BEST dip I’ve tasted yet! Like someone else said- gives me a chutney vibe but better! I just discovered this last week- and ate one container in one sitting (no wonder I’m putting on weight)…….ended up back at TJ’s and bought 2 this time- and several jicama containers….add a sweet orange bell pepper to the mix and it’s a party! Thanks TJ’s and please, for the love of god- do not discontinue this one as you do with so many other yummy products. It’s partly why I avoid this store so much….. just when I find something I like, off the shelves it goes. Boo!

One of my favorite dips I’ve had. The herbs come through so intensely, gives it a very delicious and fresh taste. I haven’t been able to find it in the store near me for a while now though. Really hope it wasn’t discontinued.

We LOVE this green tahini dip and just found out they’ve discontinued it!! Now trying to find a recipe. Since it’s gotten great reviews, I can’t figure out why TJ will no longer carry it!! Very sad.

This is one of the best things Trader Joe’s has ever sold. You can toss it with cucumbers or any other salad makings, or put on fish or chicken. It’s amazingly delicious. Please bring it back!!

I made a dressing out of some of this with red wine vinegar and a tiny bit of olive oil. It was fantastic with the salad and falafel we had that night! We just finished it off as a dip. Yum! I hope Trader Joe’s keeps this around for a good while!
