Based on the taste I would have given 5 stars! I didn’t expect the cocoa center to be so good!!! I just don’t get why you’re trying to keep people from enjoying these? It took me over 5 minutes to get the wrapper off enough to even try the candy cane! It’s miserable anytime I need to unwrap more!

Wow, that previous reviewer was not exaggerating! These are definitely five stars based on taste. Excellent candy cane (not overly “bitter mint” or menthol-y, and the chocolate goes surprisingly well inside it). I love how long I can enjoy it for too, before finishing it. However, it seriously is a pain to try to get all of the wrapper off! I ended up having to use a really sharp knife to cut parts of that, and it still took me forever to get it fully off.
I hope Trader Joe’s brings this back next year and makes it easier to unwrap! I would totally buy a bunch more this year if it weren’t so frustrating to try to get to the point of eating it.

I don’t like candy cane, but I bought it for the cocoa. I expected more cocoa, so it was disappointing for me. It was only 1/4 filled with cocoa.

This was….awful. I am really disappointed as I wanted to love this – but it tasted like straight up chemicals… Skip this next holiday season.
