I bought this several times last year and loved it, was looking forward to its return. Unfortunately it’s not as good. The onions and celery are cut too big and don’t cook properly with the squash, you get either undercooked onion and celery or overcooked squash. They also scrimped on the herbs. It’s too bad, because the original was delicious.

This stuff is a great base for soups! I added it to my curried butternut squash soup, along with a chopped shallot. It made a great base and added extra flavor.

Absolutely delicious, I roasted it with olive oil then added wild rice that I cooked with chicken broth. I used it as a side dish for my crown pork roast.

Great mirepoix substitute! I’ve used in meatloaf, stuffing, shepherds pie, breakfast hash. Even people who aren’t a big fan of squash and sweet potatoes have been enjoying it! Wish it was a year round item even though it’s very fall flavored 🙂

love this….I saute it with added chopped veggies like asparagus, mushrooms, spinach and kale. Serve with 2 over easy eggs on top for breakfast! So good.
