I am always looking for something that will make me feel fed and taste good, too. This little bag of wonderful hits the spot. My only problem now is that the closest Trader Joe’s is 62 miles away.

I’m wondering if I got a bad batch of this, because it was one of the worst Trader Joe’s products I’ve ever tried! I love all of the ingredients listed, and I carefully followed the directions for cooking it (and didn’t use a microwave), but it came out so badly that I couldn’t even finish one bite. It tasted very earthy, overwhelmingly like dirt/mud.

This is fantastic. It is the only reason I shopped at TJ but always walked out with lots more items. They have discontinued it which is a deal breaker for me.

Melodious Blend: I love this stuff, but could not find it recently at my local TJs. It’s one of those rare things that’s best cooked in the microwave – stovetop method makes it too slushy. I then gently mix it with a bag of TJ’s other frozen item called Multi-Grain blend with vegetables, an item that just needs defrosting, not cooked. (I usually do two bags of each) Once combined in a large bowl or tupperware with a lid, I add the grated rind and juice of two lemons, and 2/3 cup of olive oil. It keeps in the fridge as a great main or side dish for grilled chicken, cold or warmed slightly for 30 seconds in the microwave which brings out the lemon and grain flavors. I hope my store gets it back soon, along with the Korean scallion pancakes, delicious baked and crispy with a fried egg on top!

This was my favorite TJ product; please bring it back!!!
It was high in protein, had good macros, was easy to heat, and was delicious. I need this back in my life.

Please bring this back. Meets all the reps for fiber and protein. Add avocado in the side and you have a full meal. I truly miss it.
