I did not like it at all. Returned it. Had a weird after taste. Very thick. Not tasty.

I thought for sure this would be amazing. Unfortunately, the basil overpowers the delicate taste of artichoke and mine was full of whole black peppercorns serving as a minefield of will-I-or-won’t-I suddenly crack a tooth? Kinda gross. Also shockingly high in fat. I guess I should just pulverize my own artichokes and season as desired. The convenience factor of this jar sauce does not win me over.

There are so many things I love from trader joes, but not this. I couldn’t place what was so over powering in the sauce but as noted in another review it must have been thr basil. And had to pick out the peppercorns. Edible, but would not buy again.

I actually thought this was quite nice. I warmed up some smashed garlic in olive oil, added canned tuna, red pepper flakes, s+p, this artichoke pasta sauce, and some pasta water. When combined, spooned into cooked linguine, stir, and mixed in pasta water. Once plated, topped with lemon zest and grated parm. Very easy, light, and bright lunchtime meal.

I love Trader Joe’s. I love artichokes. But this was not nice at all. Maybe I just couldn’t get past the way it looks. It reminded me of when my dog gets sick. Sorry, TJ.

I love Trader Joe’s products but this… “sauce” was not good. It was too thick and tart, so I tried doctoring it with half and half, butter and parmesan, but nothing helped. It ended up being a tasteless mess and I threw out the rest. Don’t buy!

Doesn’t want to mix easily with Rotelli pasta. Ingredients say includes cheese but not enough to taste its presence. Mostly just plain boring. Bring back the Artichoke Antipasta. That was good.
