These are okay but they don’t always taste the freshest, even when preparing them right after buying. They can be a little tough/chewy.

Too pricey for beans from Guatemala. Where is all the American grown food going?

When they’re good they’re really good but when they’re bad they’re the worst. Tonight were TheWorst. They were from Mexico and though i didn’t see it when i cooked them after we got the most gaedaeful taste that I can’t get out of my mouth. I looked closer and saw they were infected with fungus. Those weren’t shiny spots, they were mycelium. Yuck.

I purchased these yesterday (6/5/23) and they had an expiration date of 6/11/23. I noticed they looked a little bit brown on some, but I assumed it was because they were all organic and special. Once I started cooking these in the pan, they started to brown quickly and had a terrible sour smell. I taste tasted one after, and it tasted like it smelled. They didn’t smell before I cooked them which is why I thought it was okay to cook and try one. Because they smelled and tasted so bad after, I had to throw all of them away… 🙁
