Bought this product as a Christmas gift. The bag holding the tea leaves broke apart and leaves were all loose in my hot water.
Tried several more bags and had the same result. Will not buy this product again. I have bought a lot of tea in the past 60 years and have never had a bag break open on me.

The previous review by Harriet might not have shaked the envelope at the top before tearing as instructed on the box. I followed the instructions and did not have a problem with the bag tearing apart. It does taste pretty close to coffee. I’m not a big tea drinker b/c I don’t like the earthy taste of tea, but I like this one.

The best-tasting caffeine-free “coffee” I’ve ever had. Not as rich and bold as real coffee, but it scratches the itch. You do need to shake the envelope for full aroma and flavor, but not shaking it didn’t lead to the bag breaking when I forgot. Harriet likely was unlucky with a defective bag.
