Wow, I didn’t think I would like split pea soup so much, but this was delicious. It seemed like a healthier alternative than some of their other canned/boxed soups so I gave it a try not expecting much, but I will definitely be buying it again after trying it.
It’s only about 200 calories in total but it’s pretty filling and flavorful with good ingredients. The taste is reminiscent of Dal (the Indian food dish).
Note: it does have 60% of the daily recommended sodium intake value, but that’s the case with most soups that aren’t specifically marketed as being low-sodium.

YUK!
There were high hopes but appearances were deceiving.
Against all other prepared selections from Andersen’s to my own home made this stuff failed miserably.
Not really any pea soup flavor, only a sort of over cooked goo bereft of anything palatable. Toxic waste, took it back.

Honestly, this is horrible. It is the worse thing I have ever had from TJ’s. I thought maybe it was expired but it has another 16 months. Maybe it’s a bad box? It is watered down and the spices seem off. And split pea is one of my favorites. I couldn’t finish it.
