If you’re buying these for a party, buy LOTS! Every time I’ve brought them to a gathering, people scarf them all down in about five minutes flat. They’re super good and a big crowd-pleaser.

Dripping grease. ‘Off’ taste. We threw several out; they were that disappointing. Not typical of Trader Joe’s products quality.
Make your own with Pillsbury crescent rolls or other pastry and Hillshire Farms or other mini weiners. Add cheese (e.g. cheddar), if you’d like. Really easy and much better.

I have bought these for years. Most recent boxes cooked up super greasy and pastry didnt cook well at all. Box is different so must be a differwnt manufacturer. I won’t buy again. So disappointing! Please make these good again!

These were superb, my favorite appetizer. Then in early Autumn, they changed — different packaging and horrible product.
Truly awful, dripping in grease, the pastry was heavy and would puff up, altogether awful. I have no idea what TJ’s was thinking when they changed the product. I won’t buy again and notice that the 2021 reviews all say the same thing. They took an outstanding product and completely ruined it.

They seem to have a new source and recipe that’s not nearly as good as the old one! Super super greasy. A real bummer cuz they were my fave TJs frozen snack. Not even sure if I’ll keep buying.

We’ve been buying these Pastry Pups for 10+ years. They have either changed the manufacturer or the recipe and the quality has dramatically declined. What used to be delicious is now barely edible and certainly not worth the money or the calories. I would pay extra, if needed, if they bring back the prior quality product. This current product, I would not purchase at all.
