We really like the Peppered Uncured Turkey Bacon and have purchased many packages over the years. On the nutrition label, it has always stated that there are 8 servings (strips)in the package. Once I found 14 discrete slices! They were very thin slices and not really as I expected or hoped for. Another time there were 9 slices (one slice was really two thin slices stuck together. It has varied from 7 to 9 several times. Today, I found 5 slices in the package, all of equal thickness, no “stuck together” slices. I know serving sizes may vary in different products but this is kind of weird. For Thanksgiving brunch I purposely bought and cooked two packages (for 6 people with varying degrees of bacon lust). My suggestion: keep the recipe, it makes very tasty bacon. Monitor the production process so the number of slices matches the label statement. I’m sure the weight was ok (at least I think so) but people like to have at least the number of servings promised.

We love this bacon. It was a “destination item” at Trader Joe’s. Trader Joe’s is a good distance from where we live, so won’t be making as many trips. Please consider bringing it back.

I love this bacon as one of the reasons I come all the way to Trader Joe’s. This is one of the items not found anywhere else. Tried the other turkey bacon and is too thin and not as tasty. Did one less star as did notice last few times bought if didn’t eat all after opened in a few days turned slimy. Please bring back along with ginger cereal !!!

We used to buy the delicious peppered turkey bacon weekly, one of the “must haves “ from TJ’s. The regular uncured turkey bacon just doesn’t taste that great. Please bring it back!

Super bummed this was discontinued. It used to provide the smokey flavor for my Pozole and really defined the dish. Loved it in greenbeans or on roasted brussels sprouts too. The other turkey bacon lacks flavor, is sliced too thin and just isn’t worth buying IMO.
