These are good – the taste is nice, and I love these type of ridge cut potato chips. However, it was more of a three-star experience for me — they were a little too hard (I wouldn’t say they were rock-like or anything, but I prefer flakier potato chips). I’d certainly eat them again, but in terms of purchasing, I’d rather buy the kettle-cooked salt & vinegar Trader Joe’s potato chips.

I really like these chips — they’re not the all-time best TJ’s has (and not as good as Ruffles, which they’re pretty comparable to), but tasty nonetheless. Good crunch and great with dips.

For the price and size I think it’s good deal. These chips used to be great but not lately. The chips seem to have a funny taste to it. I can’t explain it. Perhaps they had switched the oils in making it? Also these chips individually used to be large sized. Now they are small or tiny. Also the quality is stale and hard. It’s such a shame that something so great has to suck. Why would they change something if it was doing well? There’s an old saying, “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”.

Very crunchy but strange aftertaste.
But my squirrels love them.
Won’t buy again.

These are addictive! Seriously the best balance of crunchy but not too much, pleasantly salty, and they don’t leave me feeling like crap after just a handful. They are my favorite potato chips ever!

I bought a bag a month ago. Loved the chips. They were small, rolled up a little bit, quite dark, crunchy, not too salty.
Bought another bag tonight. Don’t like them. Chips are completely different. They are just like any other ridge cut potato chip. Large, flat, white and very salty. Am wondering if my first bag was a different kind of chip packaged in the wrong bag. My rating for first bag is 5 stars. Rating for tonight’s bag is 2 stars. Very disappointed.

I remember the first I tried these about 10 years ago, they were scrumptious. Thick, crunchy and not too salty. Now it’s still good, but not as good as 10 years ago. It’s thinner and a bit saltier.

Don’t buy unless you have a cheap dentist. Hard as a rock, more than hard enough to fracture a tooth on. This bag could cost you $2000. Inedible.
