Surprisingly delicious! Trader Joe’s pastry/bread products like this can be really hit-or-miss, but these are a hit. They almost taste like sweet scones, with a very melt-in-your-mouth, crumbly texture. Of course, that means they fall apart more easily which can be annoying while trying to eat it without making a mess – but it’s worth it for these.
As the package says, it really is “wonderful with fresh fruit and whipped cream,” too. I tried it with some blueberries, raspberries, and whipped cream on 4th of July and it was ridiculously good.
Note though: they’re almost 300 calories each!

These are absolutely delicious! They really have a melt-in-your-mouth consistency. The only thing I don’t like are the nutrition facts – these are NOT a diet-friendly food! Very high in calories, saturated fat, etc. Still, taste-wise they can’t be beat.
