I eat this all the time. Almost tastes like a real restaurant version!

This. Is. Delicious! As always, I was skeptical about it because it’s frozen, but if you follow the directions on the package they come out great. Nice crisp and very flavorful. I wasn’t too crazy about the sauce. Something about it was a little off. Not the typical sweet and sour sauce that I’m used to, but I just substitute with a little bit of soy sauce or sriracha.

This is one of those Trader Joe’s items that I bought on a whim, and is now a staple in my household. Sometimes frozen meat in meals like this can be tough and unappetizing (ie: the TJ’s kung pao chicken in my opinion), but this one is perfect! It basically tastes like delicious chicken nuggets before you put the sweet & sour sauce on.
I agree that the sauce isn’t as good as a restaurant version of sweet & sour, but I still enjoy it. And it’s delicious without the sauce too. I like to make it with rice for a full meal.
