Too sweet with a strong butter flavor. The ube flavor is lacking.

The sweetness is over-powering the ube flavor so you only get the ube as an after-taste. This has the sweetness more comparable to a fruit jam that is preserved in sugar. I only use it now as a sugar substitute.

I seem to be in the minority for liking this. I agree that it’s not ube-flavored enough, but it’s soo addictive and delicious to me as a dessert-y spread in general. I could eat it by the spoonful!

The first two times I tasted it, I thought it was nice, but the third time I flat out fell in love. It pairs so well with ice cream or cream cheese on toast with nuts

Too sweet, color is pale compared to the real Filipino ube, runny. Disappointing. You guys need to change the recipe. Perhaps go visit a few Pinoy dessert places and compare.
