Recently bought Hersheys.I will not buy again Trader Joe cocoa powder;. using it for hot cocoa for several years. The taste is useless as well as the color;doesnt even smell like cocoa or chocolate.What have you done to it?

Consumer Reports – and a lawsuit – have shown that Trader Joe’s chocolate products are Loaded with cadmium and lead, both toxic and accumulative heavy metals in the body. I threw away their cocoa powder I bought earlier. Won’t touch Any of their chocolate products from now on.

I have used Trader Joe’s Cocoa Powder in past and found it to produce a favorable cup of hot cocoa. Box purchase January 2024 with best by date: NOV 09 2025 has NO chocolate/cocoa flavor. I have made five cups, five different days and all tasteless. Yesterday I tried a different cocoa and it was strong on chocolate/cocoa flavor. Back to using Trader Joe’s today, very disappointingly flavorless. Can I get my money back?
