It is so unusual for me to dislike a TJ’s product that I felt I had to write a review. I’m not a baker, first of all. I had a cake mix and needed frosting, so I bought this because it was the only thing available at TJ’s. I followed the instructions, used softened butter, and added a few teaspoons of milk to try and smooth out the mix. First of all, this stuff was SO stiff. I wondered afterwards if I was supposed to add like a whole cup of milk or something, just to get it spreadable?? But the box gave no indication so I played it safe with the suggested teaspoon amount of milk. I had to then warm it up in the microwave just to spread my cake. It then set to its original hard state, which made cutting the cake later on very difficult as the cake itself was soft with a hard top. Finally, the main downside of this mix was that it was WAAAAAY too sweet. And I say that as someone who enjoys dessert every day. I could only eat the tiniest slice of cake before feeling yucky from sugar overload. The canned frostings taste less sweet than this. They also take much less effort. I will go back to those.

Amazing & so simple! Please keep this as a regular part of stock! I added an 8oz container of cream cheese along with a two sticks of butter and frosted a carrot cake for my sister’s birthday. Perfection! So creamy, Smooth & simple. Thank you TJ’s!

Love this! Easy and taste great. I added a bit more milk, than the suggested amount to get the consistency I prefer. I added 1 tbsp. at a time and ended up at 6 , it was prefect. I have made several homemade frostings and this is very similar to my go to recipe but a bit better. Has a long shelf live also, will keep a few boxes around for a last minute dessert.

Love this frosting with ingredients that are simple compared to all the the unhealthy ingredients in container frosting. It is fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. My students kept asking me to make more because the frosting was so yummy. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find it at my local Trader Joe’s

Finally a frosting without palm oil! All these canned frostings main ingredients are sugar and palm oil. And those are not good for your health and the environment.
